_The Heartland Chapter is the celebrating its first anniversary!  Heartland Chapter of ABATE of Oklahoma formed in May 2011.

The Heartland Chapter meets the second Sunday of each month at the V.F.W. located at 4605 S. Pennsylvania in Oklahoma City. The meeting starts at 2:00 p.m. (See the EVENTS page for further information.)

Motorcycling is an activity many people around the world enjoy. If you ask why, you would get a wide variety of reasons. Some would say for the camaraderie, some would say out of necessity, yet some would say for the pure enjoyment of the open road. However, it is necessary for drivers of all vehicles to be aware of one another for the enjoyment and safety of everyone. A.B.A.T.E seeks to play a role in making that idea a reality by educating drivers of not only motorcycles, but cars and trucks as well.

You can have a part in spreading the word about driving safety and motorcycle awareness by joining A.B.A.T.E of Oklahoma. You do not need to ride a motorcycle to be a member. If you ride or know someone who does, consider becoming a part of this organization today. A link to the membership form will appear here soon.

The Mission Statement of A.B.A.T.E. is to promote and defend motorcyclist freedom, safety, and awareness through education and legislation to make Oklahoma the best place to ride.

Heartland Chapter was the winner of this year's "Traveling" trophy at the SMILE!_

ABATE is a motorcyclists' rights organization dedicated to preserving individual freedom and promoting safety. We fully support rider training, safety and educational programs.
